All Sumter EMC payment options will be unavailable beginning Saturday, December 30 at 11:45 p.m. until Monday, January 1 at 12:05 a.m. All payment gateways will be down due to year-end maintenance. This will affect all payment options, including phone calls, IVR (phone), payment kiosks, the mobile app, and the Sumter EMC website.
During the maintenance period, Prepay members will not receive daily billing or daily alert messages. Disconnects will not occur during maintenance but will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Prepay accounts will need to have credit balances to avoid being disconnected.
