To apply for assistance, visit 900 Adderton Street, Americus, Georgia. For homebound individuals, call (478) 472-3607. You will need the following documents to apply. 

• Proof of income for all household members for the past 30 days. 

• Proof of social security number for each person in the household. 

• Most recent gas and electricity bills for the household. 

• Proof of citizenship or legal immigrant status.
