The Board of Directors is the policy-making body of the Cooperative. To be eligible to serve on the Board, each director must be a member of Sumter EMC and meet the eligibility requirements listed in the Cooperative's bylaws. Members elect directors on a rotation basis to serve 3-year terms. Elections are held each year at the Annual Meeting. Each member has one vote, and all members are encouraged to attend.
