(AMERICUS, GA) – The Sumter EMC Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to Hands of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) to furnish new client intake rooms. This funding will support the Center’s expansion efforts, allowing them to serve more clients in a welcoming, supportive environment.
The new intake rooms will significantly enhance Hands of Hope PRC’s ability to meet growing demand for its services, which include free options counseling, ultrasound referrals, parenting and adoption education, and connections to local resources. By increasing its capacity, the Center can assist even more clients throughout the seven counties it serves.
"The Sumter EMC Foundation is pleased to support organizations like Hands of Hope PRC that are helping local community members thrive," said Andrea Walker, Chairman of Sumter EMC Foundation. "This grant will help expand their outreach and impact, offering more families the support they need during challenging times."
